Ozzy Feet

Fuzzy Feet
Fuzzy Feet in Soho

Pattern: Fuzzy Feet
Yarn: 3.5 x 50g balls of Debbie Bliss's Soho
Size: UK 6.5
Needles: 6.5mm addi turbo circular worked magic loop
Gauge: 14sts per 4" so I had to adjust the pattern.
Started: 17th August 2007
Finished: 25th August 2007 but not worked exclusively.

They were made for my Step Mother who is currently living in Australia. She visited us recently in our new home & one of the first things she saw when she came in the door was my pair & loved them. It's now spring in Sydney but her house is pretty cold so I think they'll get plenty of wear. I sent them by airmail on Tuesday 28th of August & they arrived 6 days later, on her birthday, which I was really chuffed about.

I started them whilst we were on holiday last month & they were even worked on the beach. Like my last pair I didn't get gauge with the yarn I chose but it was in my stash & the colours suited so with DH's help & a calculator I adjusted the pattern.

They were HUGE before felting but with two 60c washes & the help of a dog towel for agitation soon felted up nice & firmly.

too small for a compost bin!
I bet it's knitting related but can't work out what...

Love the socks and great timing!

Cute! The colours came out really well from the felting.

Is it a butterfly or bee box?

Hi ... you don't know me, but I was just doing some blog-browsing and had to leave a message to say how much I've enjoyed looking at your creations, and reading your blog. I'll definitely bookmark it and visit again.
Best wishes, Kitty :-)

They are lovely. where is the pattern from? I could do with a pair probably with steel toe caps. I just dropped a large book on my toe very painful. How is DD doing at her new school? loving it I hope!

Lovely fuzzy feet! I think mine would have been much better not using Lopi as it doesn't feel so cozy. Oh well, another lesson learnt ;)
