Braving Lace

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to take part in a Nancy Bush workshop on Estonian Lace. Apart from a few pairs of lace socks I've never been brave enough to partake in lace but this is soon to change:

Next I'm taking part in the Socktopus Mystery Shawl KAL

You actually took a workshop with Nancy Bush!!!! How exciting! Now I'll have to watch your shawl progress to see how it comes out.

I did a mystery shawl once, but found it very frustrating. Apparently I prefer to see what it should look like before I knit it. Then I can see any mistakes easier.
