the blues....

I'm feeling really low at the moment & have done for a few days

No one thing that I can put my finger on - rather a build up of everything & I can feel myself slipping downhill.

Not much knitting happening which isn't good given the size of my WIP's list.

I know how it feels and I'm sending positive sunny vibes your way. If you aren't up to knitting then do what I do and surf some colourful sites of yarn and patterns, a virtual wish list. Sun on its way

I think it's definately the time of the year. I always get intermittent low spells over the winter. And it's nothing to do with dark nights - rather the cold and the general greyness of everything. Hope you are feeling more upbeat soon.

I hope you're feeling better soon. Don't worry about the wip's, they aren't going anywhere, and they won't go bad. Take care of yourself!

I wouldnt get too down if I were you. As Andrea says its the time of year and you've not long got over the flu and playing nursemaid to sick patients as well. Just look forward to things landing on your doormat ;-)

Definitely the time of year. Spring seems to be just within our grasp - especially with the odd days we've been having here and there when you feel we've turned the corner - only to then get ice, rain, wind. Ugh.

Chin up. Things will get better.

The cold and greyness and getting over the flu are bound to make you feel low. Don't think about all the WIPs, if you feel like knitting, knit whatever you feel drawn too! Take care.

Time of year is cold, wet and depressing but things will soon change. The frogs in my pond have woken up and the signs are is that spring is here (and the pond will be full of babies before long....) Daffs are begining to show their heads.
And as for knitting, it wont mind if it is left in it's bags. Will end up more interesting after a rest ;-)

Oh hun, it possibly is the time of year... or perhaps a delayed reaction to everything else that's been going on off late...you've had some soul-bearing times which are hard, emotionally... you've been ill and caring for a family that's been ill. Take theeself off to bed and just let it all do it's 'stuff'.

If we didn't have the down times, we'd never appreciate the good times xx
