There were LOTS of rare breeds of sheep on display plus other fibre producing animals. I can't remember all the breeds but will add them in as I find out what they are:

There were also lots of stalls including the Knitting & Crochet Guild where I renewed my membership & bought a few treats for myself:
books & an old copy of Interweave knits
I was very good and didn't buy any yarn for myself
but I did buy a variety of presents for a couple of different people. I intend to use the Ann Budd book to design a jumper or cardigan to knit up the Merino et Soie that I got for my birthday & the Elsebeth Lavold book to use up some Silky Wool and Silky Tweed that lurk in my stash. I also bought these for Knitty Fred

Looks like you had a fabulous time - I'm intensely jealous of the buys. The Anne Budd book is good - I just got that the other week. Must make more of an effort to get there next year!
I'm still feeling slightly hungover from Woolfest, so haven't got round to posting! Good pictures, set off beautifully by your sheep breed recognition skills.

Oh so many lovely sheeps!! I´d love to be a farmer and have sheeps of my own and making my own yarn from them.... perhaps in the future ;)
It sounds like a wonderful event, woolfest. It would be nice if they could have something like that here in Sweden too.

I think you were very good although I cant believe you've bought the Elsebeth Lavold book as that's the one I'm currently after - great minds eh! Glad we all got to Woolfest, think we'll need a mini-bus next year cos if we forget to take hello mango all hell will break loose!
