Second chance

Celtic Cove have found another 6 balls in the same dyelot & they've apparently passed the 'pull' test.

I nearly frogged the lot last night as I was so annoyed - glad I didn't now. However this has put me off Noro for now & I doubt I'll buy it again.

Watch this space....

I've not had any problems with Noro, yet. but you're making me nervous - I have 13 balls of Kureyon under the bed, for Butterfly.

What a shame you had such trouble with Noro - I didn't know it could do that. I'll be careful in the future that is for sure. Glad you got it sorted though that Lady Eleanor is going to be fantastic.

Phew, hope these balls work out OK. I made socks with some Silk Garden and pulled it around quite a bit with no problems. Maybe it was just a weird batch?

Glad you've got it sorted, I've never had any trouble with Noro so hopefully yours was just a freak lot.

Glad it's sorted out! The only problems I've had with Noro is knots where it must have broken in process linked with a different part of the variegated "pattern"! It looked OK. I think you definitely had the friday aftrnoon batch!

I used some Kureyon for a felting bag pattern and found it fairly weak. Maybe it's the way Noro spin their fibres or something. I'm sorry you've had a bad experience. I don't think i'd use their stuff for knitting a large garment or anything, but I coped with the bag felting.

Pants to yarn that falls apart, and good effort that the supplier got it sorted!
